Nature has always been my greatest inspiration, I could sit with a tree for hours simply in awe, just thinking how I could creatively capture the moment. The light is an important element to me, there is something going on outside of our usual spectrum of sight that can be captured through a lens and then magically be brought back to life, time after time after time! We really do live in Wonderland.

 

I work very intuitively, passionate about art and its creative expression in all forms, be it with my photographic art or paint brushes to create inspiring wall art.  The whole world around me, above and below, is symbolic. Every flower I see, every animal that crosses my path, every tree, every pattern, every recurring shape and number, every single colour speaks and guides.

A few years ago my eleven year old niece came to the USA from the UK to spend four weeks with us, Throughout this time I gave her a project, to make a photo journal, not something on a mobile phone, but a printed physical thing.  It took a bit of pushing to get her to do it, but I know she still flicks through that journal and it takes her right back in time to some really special memories.
