Ever Glory Light
by Chris Page
Felixstowe Port, the giant contaner ships and their loading crains dominate the landscape where the River Orwell and Stour meets the North Sea. Across these rivers is Harwich and the home of a Trinity House station. Incorporated by Royal Charter in 1514, Trinity House is responsible for Lighthouses, Lightships and Buoys all around the UK.
An automated Light is being towed out to sea, slowly passing by the "Ever Glory" with its 9,000 40ft containers on board.
