Orphaned as a child, Tombi (right) a wandering lost soul anointed Sophie as her replacement mother, a widowed grandmother to several children and grand-children. They are shack residents on a plot shared by several other dwellers and their families in a mix of cultures. Both have inherited the apathy that comes with giving up on life. Their common interest, alcohol and cigarettes.
