Wrecked on Rum
by Chris Page
It was not Rum that caused the wreak of the French fishing vessel Jack Abry, but it could have been Cognac or Beaujolais Wine. I photographed this ship wreck while on a small boat trip from the Isle of Skye out to Canna and Rum. It has stayed where it founded for many years, as it's not finically viable to salvage the vessel for scrap. However its legacy is to be home to crustaceans, sea birds and a playground for seals.
Confession - I have added the Lighthouse into the shot.
